The Institute of Knowledge Integration (IKI Academy) implements off-site Summer and Winter School programs aimed at promoting the ideas of knowledge integration, enhancing academic competencies, and developing professional networks among students, young researchers, and instructors. These programs contribute to the formation of a sustainable research community, improvement of academic training quality, and strengthening of collaboration among participants in the educational process.
The Institute of Knowledge Integration (IKI Academy) announces a competitive selection process for participation in the off-site Winter School, which will take place in January 2026 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Theme of the School: “Contemporary Approaches to Teaching and Research in Islamic Studies.”
Participation Conditions (Grant Basis)
Participants who successfully pass the selection process will receive a full organizational package, including:
• round-trip airfare;
• accommodation;
• meals;
• participation in the educational program.

• Working language: Russian
Eligibility Requirements
Selection is conducted on a competitive basis. To apply, candidates must submit:
• a completed application form;
• a résumé (CV);
• a motivation letter.
Graduate students (Master’s and PhD), early-career instructors, and researchers from CIS countries who demonstrate a sustained academic interest in Islamic studies and a willingness to develop their research competencies are invited to apply.
