Summer School: Contemporary Approaches to Teaching and Research in Islamic Studies (Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan, June 28 – July 5, 2026)

The Summer School, organized by the Institute of Knowledge Integration, is a program of lectures, seminars, and roundtable discussions dedicated to contemporary approaches in Islamic studies. The program covers methodology, Muslim intellectual thought, Islamic law in the era of AI, psychological counseling, and futures studies.

Main Focus of the Event:

Exploring the concept and practical application of the integration of knowledge from a holistic Islamic perspective in the context of contemporary challenges.

Key Objectives:

– To examine the latest methodologies and limitations in teaching and research.
– To develop an understanding of the concept of knowledge integration (traditional Islamic disciplines + modern sciences).
– To discuss the practical application of technologies, including AI, in contemporary Islamic studies.
