Within the project IIIT lectures series for CIS countries we organised a lecture "Islamic Management: General Characteristics", which was held by Myroslava Yariko (Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, Kharkiv, Ukraine), candidate of cultural studies, culturologist, ethno-culturalist, tourismologist, senior lecturer of the Department of Museum and Tourist Activities of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture.
During the lecture Myroslava Yariko outlined such issues as the history of formation and fundamental foundations of Islamic management, the features of the functions of "motivation", "control", "organisation", "planning". Three-part structure of responsibility (God, society, individual), two-part structure of influence of actions on human life (present life, future life).
The issues of social responsibility of business, Islamic management through the prism of the "7-S" or "Happy Atom" model were also raised.
In particular, Myroslava Jariko proposed to consider the formation of Islamic management:
- the culture of entrepreneurs
- the opportunity to ask questions in real time and receive answers to the Prophet Muhammad.
- Islamic management developed simultaneously with Islam in Muslim territories, but as a term it has been actively used since the late 80s.

More than 40 participants registered for the lecture, in particular from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. Participants were interested in how modern trends affect Islamic management, or how Islamic management spreads in organisations where not only Muslims but also representatives of other religions work.

The recording of the lecture can be viewed on the YouTube channel of the Institute of Knowledge Integration at the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UJEhz2-M5k.
