The book "Studies in Islamic Civilization: The Muslim Contribution to the Renaissance" was highly assessed in Russia

The Russian State Library awarded the "Petersburg Oriental Studies" publishing house with a diploma for publishing the book "Studies in Islamic Civilization: The Muslim Contribution to the Renaissance".

In the competition "Best Book of the Year" held by the Association of Book Publishers of Russia in the thematic nominations mentioned above this publication became the best book of 2023.

This unique work was written by scientists Ahmed Essa and Othman Ali. The authors in their study rely on the works of Western scientists, where they prove that without the huge contribution of the Muslim world, the Renaissance in Europe was hardly possible.
