Gregory Mavrov holds an MA in Islamic Studies from Hamad bin Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar, and is pursuing a PhD in political science at the National University of Ostroh Academy in Ostroh, Ukraine. Additionally, he is a frequent contributor to TRT broadcaster, focusing on the history of modern Muslim societies and the modernization of the Ottoman Empire.
